Dear visitors and friends, 

Our library in Cesta Domů, contains many texts on palliative care, and is the first of its kind in the Czech Republic. Many local medihealth workers, professional staff and caring family members depend on these books as valuable resources.

Our library is looking for additional funding in acquiring the latest medical texts as well as secular/laymen resources dealing with death and dying.

The current library fund was established and is maintained by the EU-Phare grant. However, our library is in need of additional sources of funding to expand its offer of valuable and much sought after books. 

This includes wonderful people, like you, who would be interested in supporting our cause by purchasing books or magazines for our library.

We have created a WISH LIST at the international online bookstore www.amazon.co.uk, which contains a listing of our most needed books.

Should you wish to purchase a book for our library from our wish list, please follow these steps:

1. Go to the amazon website

2. There is a link Gifts and Wish Lists at the top of the web page

3. There you will see a search field entitled “Find Someone´s Wish List”

4. Enter our email address, cestadomu@cestadomu.cz and click GO!

Here you will see our latest wish list, including book prices.

To purchase a book or magazine subscription, click on “Add to Cart”.  When you have finished adding the books you wish to purchase for us, click the button “Proceed to Checkout”.

• If you are a member of amazon, proceed as usual.
• If you are not a member of amazon, it is easy to create an account by providing minimum contact information and creating your personal password. Then follow the steps to make a secure online credit card purchase.

Our mailing address will show up automatically as you complete the check out process, and your purchased books will be mailed to our address in Prague.

We also happily accept used books in good condition. Make sure, however, that the independent bookseller you select is able to ship internationally.
