Educational Activity

Every year the Cesta domů employees present expert and educational papers at workshops and conferences and trainings at high schools, universities and other institutions.

Cesta domů participates in the Open Society Fund programme East-East. In 2010 it consists in exchange visits, sharing information and cooperation with colleagues from the Ukraine Enenko Fund (Gallery 1, Gallery 2) . In 2008 it consisted in cooperation with the Albanian hospice Ryder Albania in Tirana.

The Cesta domů also addresses public by means of dozens of articles in newspapers and magazines as well as in the radio and TV programs.

Do not close your eyes! Campaign

Major improvement of the care for the dying can never be the matter of small groups of experts. It requires the support and understanding of the general public. The more people care for the way they die the earlier the existing sad situation may be improved. As part of the campaign the Cesta domů organizes various events for the support of the palliative care.
