Bereavement Club "Late Afternoon"

 

The Late Afternoon club is directly conected with the home hospice services and provides both time and space for bereaved relatives, who are dealing with the loss of a close person. The program of the club reflects the need for complex palliative care for clients and attempts to respond to these needs flexibly. Bereaved relatives have the opportunity to meet people with similar problems in a self-help group and during discussions with interesting persons.

 

The ergotherapeutic workshops called "handspinnings" are also successful. Products manufactured by bereaved relatives are sold successfully in the Homecoming charity shop. At these meetings bereaved relatives also have the opportunity to meet volunteers and employees of the Homecoming, with whom they had often been in touch during care for their relatives. This possibility of meeting each other is greatly appreciated by both the bereaved relatives and the employees. We also organize yearly social commemorative meetings of bereaved relatives from previous years with Homecoming employees.
